Template:ColorStyle

This template generates CSS background-color and color properties for a style attribute. This template should be used in cases where an element is colored based on an associated race or polity (using Template:ColorRace for background colors, and Template:ColorRace/foreground for foreground colors.)

Usage

{{ColorStyle|raceid|bgcolor=|fgcolor=}}

The raceid is a placeholder value, not a parameter name. Substitute values for the placeholder directly.

When used, ColorStyle must be encapsulated within a HTML style attribute. For example:

<div style="{{ColorStyle}}"/>

Optional Fields

• raceid
  • Identical to valid values for Template:ColorRace.
  • Selects background and foreground colors from Template:ColorRace and Template:ColorRace/foreground.
• bgcolor
  • Overrides background color selected from Template:ColorRace.
  • This is a CSS color property.
• fgcolor
  • Overrides background color selected from Template:ColorRace/foreground.
  • This is a CSS color property.
