Living in a peaceful harmony with the nature, the Village of Ix, governed by Mayor Theogrin, is a haven for all conjurers in the Land of Nox. It can also serve as a shelter for many travellers, because for its location next to the Crossroads in the center of the Southern Lands.
When Hecubah started terrorizing the Southern Lands, she sent a Necromancer to the village who conjured many spiders to keep Mayor Theogrin locked in his house in constant fear. However, when Jack the Conjurer visited the village, he eradicated all the spiders.
